MFA in Creative Writing Poetry Reading

Join MFA program director Johnny Payne for a poetry reading at our beautiful Doheny campus. Johnny is an accomplished poet, playwright, novelist, short story writer and essayist. His most recent works are Ostraca, The Reluctant Assassin, and Confessions of a Gentleman Killer. Payne’s plays include Touchstone, Death by Zephyr and Musk Sky. In addition to his writing and teaching, Payne specializes in Quechua ethnolinguistics. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from and connect with a prolific writer while exploring the opportunity to study with him and his colleagues at Mount Saint Mary’s University Los Angeles.
